Finding the right place to live, and people to live with, is something that is important for everybody. But for people with learning disabilities things are a bit more complicated with lots of different elements to take into account. Perhaps the biggest of these is level of dependency, or how much care the person in question needs in order to lead a safe and full life. Then there is the question of finance - as most people with a learning disability do not have a source of income and rely on help from the state. People with learning disabilities are also much less likely to to get married and start a family of their own which is the norm for most other people.
